Hey, I’m Austin!

Let’s start at the beginning—I’m the middle child of nine siblings and a firm believer in Middle Child Syndrome! Since graduating from Wren High School, I spent 10 years on staff at NewSpring specializing in motion design, where I honed my craft and deepened my passion for animation. Now, I’ve stepped into the world of full-time freelance animation, bringing ideas to life for a variety of clients while also helping my wife with her floral design business, Rachel Deneroy Designs.

Speaking of my wife, I’m incredibly lucky to be married to a creative powerhouse whose floral work is nothing short of stunning (seriously, check it out!). Together, we’ve built an amazing life, and these days, my biggest joy is spending time with our two-year-old son, Leon, along with our growing little zoo—our two dogs, Basil and Juniper, and our two tabby cats, Boba and Benny.

When I’m not designing or animating, I try to step away from the screens and unwind in other ways. I’ve recently picked up gardening, which has been an oddly satisfying way to slow down and get my hands in the dirt. I’ve also rediscovered a love for reading, making my way through an ever-growing stack of books (recommendations always welcome!). That said, I still love watching movies—especially the over-the-top, action-packed ones (Fast & Furious forever). And I’m still trying to convince my wife to join me in gaming… progress is slow, but I’m determined.

What I Do

As a freelance animator, motion designer, and illustrator, I specialize in creating engaging motion graphics and animations for brands, businesses, and creative projects. Over the years, I’ve worked on branding campaigns, animated series, and digital content, using tools like After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite to bring ideas to life with dynamic motion.

A few years ago, I completed the Advanced Motion Methods course at School of Motion, which gave me valuable industry insights and sharpened my skills in animation principles, design, and technical execution. That experience continues to shape the way I approach my work today.

I love what I do, and whether it’s crafting high-quality animations, helping bring my wife’s floral visions to life, or just soaking up time with my family, I’m all about creating meaningful, lasting work.
